The Orange Box

The Orange Box

The Orange Box is a video game compilation produced and published by Valve, which contains:
Half-Life 2
Half-Life 2: Episode One
Half-Life 2: Episode Two
Portal
Team Fortress 2
The Windows version was released on October 10, 2007 as both retail boxed copy, and as a download available through Valve's Steam service.

OK people it took a month or so but group DETONATiON have released the brilliant Orange Box from famous devs; Valve. As most of you probably know this little beauty contains Half Life 2: Episode 2, Portal and Team Fortress 2! Three superb games in their own right. Previously group UNLEASHED released both Half Life 2: Episode 2 and Portal by ripping the local .gcf files and then applying a steam emulator made by the now busted group VENGEANCE for their HL2 release. This detonation release has been cracked to allow you to play without any emulation or steam client, the only thing that has been changed is the installer everything else remains the same. If you download this release then you experience of playing HL2 E2 and Portal will be no different to anyone else’s. The rub comes with online play, specifically online play for Team Fortress 2 (The game does not have a single player or bots, its online only) will not work on legit steam servers as you need a valid key. However there are tons of cracked servers out there its just a question of finding them. Hint: Use Google… Anyway this is a beast of a game(s) weighing in at around 8 GB. Pretty big by anyone’s standards. I really recommend this though, and its definitely worth a purchase.

Description: Once again players assume the role of Gordon Freeman, a scientist destined to save the Earth from hordes of gruesome alien attackers. Valve has created a fully realized world in Half-Life 2, with objects and characters that feature accurate physics properties, behaving with the appropriate mass, density, and physical properties of their real-life counterparts. Extremely intelligent computer AI result in enemies that plan, adapt, and respond to the player’s actions. Following on the heels of the similarly-titled next-gen console edition, this package is a near-complete package of the Half-Life 2 phenomenon, packed with bonuses in addition to the genre-expanding original Half-Life 2 game. Half-Life 2: Episode One and Episode Two add-on levels are also on the disc, as are the stunningly complex puzzle game Portal and the online phenomenon Team Fortress 2.

Features:

* Half-Life 2: Episode Two — the second installment in Valve’s episodic trilogy advances the award-winning story, leading the player to new locations outside of City 17.
* Portal — a pioneering type of single player action game that rewrites the rules for how players approach and manipulate their environment – much like how Half-Life 2’s Gravity Gun reinvented the way gamers interact with objects in the game.
* Team Fortress 2 — an all-new version of the legendary title that spawned team based multiplayer action games. The game’s daring new art style features the most advanced graphics of any Source-based game released to date.

System Requirements:

* 1.7 GHz processor
* 512 MB RAM
* DirectX 8 compatible video card
* Windows 2000/XP/Vista
